The minimum age to participate is 12 years old. Participants ages 12–15 must have an adult (18+) in the room with them at all times. Participants 16 and older may participate independently.

All patrons MUST be at least 12 years of age and MUST fit securely in all required safety equipment. This age limit will NOT be breached.

No. There is no need to arrive early. Your appointment time already includes the necessary time to complete your waiver. We kindly ask that you DO NOT arrive more than 5 minutes before your scheduled session, as we prepare the space specifically for your group.

Yes. You can adjust your group size on the day of your appointment, as long as you remain within the parameters of our general booking packages and DO NOT exceed our Large Group maximum of 9 guests.

For example, if you booked a Small Group package (minimum of 3 guests, maximum of 5 guests) and initially confirmed 4 guests but arrive with 2 additional participants, we can adjust your booking to accommodate them.

Final headcount adjustments can be made at check-in to ensure your whole group can participate.

Yes! Bring over those old framed pictures of your ex, for example! We have a bring-your-own-breakables package. All items must be approved by one of our Destruction Care Coordinators.

You must wear closed-toed and closed-back shoes in the rage room. Absolutely no shorts are allowed. Please come dressed accordingly for safety reasons.

Yes. Our number one priority at Smash RX LLC is safety. We provide all necessary safety gear for our destruction therapy clients. We also provide tools/materials that are not harmful to humans in any way.

It can be! Destruction therapy itself is an innovative therapeutic process based on the idea that taking out stress and anxiety on inanimate objects can be therapeutic and cathartic. Most importantly, when it comes to destruction therapy, all negative emotions are directed towards inanimate objects. The use of a smash room highlights the immediate rewards of destruction and reduced tension. It offers a moment of adrenaline and relief.

However, this will not replace traditional therapy. It is an added benefit and will produce favorable results but should not be used as a replacement for traditional therapy.

Smash RX offers several accessibility features, including a level entrance, accessible pathways wide enough for wheelchairs, and an ADA-accessible restroom. These accommodations ensure that guests can safely navigate our facility.

However, because Smash RX is a rage room environment, participation in destruction therapy involves lifting, swinging, and handling heavy equipment such as hammers, bats, and sledgehammers. For safety reasons, only you can determine whether you are physically able to participate fully in these activities.
